Members of Communities Without Boundaries had a planning meeting in Three Hills at the ClicSite.  When one of the members could not attend in person it due to scheduling, he was able to attend the meeting virtually from Edmonton.

New Worlds For Women

 

"New Worlds For Women" is an eight-week life skills and workplace entry skills course based out of Medicine Hat College that was facilitated at the Three Hills ClicSite.

Patient Gets Virtual Family Visit

When a relative was hospitalized in a distant community, local residents were able to make a visit without leaving Three Hills.

 

 

Skype Presentation for Seniors

Skype Presentation for Seniors

ClicSite Director Bob Cuthill makes a presentation to seniors about using Skype, a free online Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP) application.  Seniors were shown how to make free long distance calls to anywhere in North America using Skype - a great way to stay in touch with extended family and far-flung friends.

A local entrepreneur receives valuable "quick-to-learn, quick-to-use" business training at the ClicSite.  These FREE noon hour presentations are conducted by live, fully interactive video conferencing.

Seniors Embrace Technology

Members of Seniors Outreach Programs receive valuable information presented clearly on a 65" SMART Board during a regular monthly meeting.

Canada - Chinese Legislative Cooperation Project 

 

High-ranking officials with Chinese agricultural ministries visited Three Hills as part of a Canadian government exchange on how democratic processes help foster rural economic development. They heard presentations about Rural Alberta’s Development Fund from Board Member Jann Beeston and Managing Director Terry Keyko, videoconferencing from Hanna and Edmonton.

Rural Alberta's Development Fund (RADF) was in Three Hills to interview and film various aspects of the Three Hills ClicSite project.  The video segment will be featured on the RADF web page along with other projects they have funded.
